Innovation House Party Re-cap

Midwich Group’s new 50,000sqft+ southern showroom, located in Bracknell, opened its doors for the first time on 20-22 August to host PSCo’s Innovation House Party. 

The state-of-the-art showroom is one of the largest multi-vendor experience centres in the UK and will showcase the Group’s wide-ranging technologies from across Midwich, PSCo, Sound Technology, Holdan and Invision.

PSCo (part of the Midwich Group), the leading trade-only rental and LED distribution, welcomed over 300 partners over the 3-day event. Attendees experienced a guided tour of the stunning new showroom which have been specifically designed to support the market by offering training facilities and extensive, hands-on demonstrations with some of world’s leading technologies. Innovation House Party allowed PSCo and their team of experts to showcase the full range of new and exciting display technologies, alongside various other complimentary technology areas from across the Midwich Group.

Amongst the technologies showcased were the new industry-leading Absen AX1.5 1.5mm rental LED, large-format and LCD products from Samsung and NEC, interactive touchscreens from iiyama, ultra-wide and transparent screen technologies from LG and the Peerless Xtreme 55” high-brightness IP68 outdoor LCD which was presented with a waterfall cascading over the surface. We also saw the highly popular HyperVSN 3D holographic projection configured in a 3x3 wall housed in a bespoke casing created by trade partner, 9 Yards.

For the first time, Leading LED & video processing vendor Novastar represented their popular portfolio of products including the latest in 4K processing technologies – during the event, it was announced that PSCo have signed an exciting new UK distribution agreement with Novastar.

Epson showed off their impressive range of professional 3LCD laser projectors including the brand new 9k and 20k projectors. Epson’s versatile lens range and powerful advanced features were demonstrated superbly along with Motion Mapping. They produced an immersive edge-blend experience using the EB-L1755U 15k and short-throw lenses.

The Midwich Technical team represented a selection of their specialist products for rental in the form of a full range demo of Brightsign digital signage media players, Da-lite & AV Stumpfl fast-fold projection screens. Other Midwich Group companies, Holdan (professional video & broadcast solutions) and Sound Technology (professional audio and lighting) represented their extensive portfolio of technologies which are perfectly suited for rental applications, including best-in-class products from Panasonic Broadcast, Martin, Blackmagic, JBL and Soundcraft.

Midwch Group company, Invision (specialists in home cinema & smart home technologies) opened the doors to their stunning home cinema demo room (located permanently in the Innovation House Experience Centre facilities) to provide visitors with an insight into their expertise in the area – this must be seen to be believed.
